Life without status updates feels weird. But I think I can get used to it. I'm glad I have Livejournal to help me ween, ha.

Now that freshers week is over things are finally winding down. The only thing that keeps me awake is my conscience and there's not much else to be said about that. Oh, that and the sound of the guy next door screwing his girlfriend. Anyway, other than that, things are going pretty well, I've been really relaxed even though I've had a revelation about humanities classes...they're shit. They're pointless and and completely irrelevant to anything. Okay, not all of them but Art History anyway. What a load of crap. I want to switch into Bio like, now.

I really have to get on those chores I've listed for myself in the previous entries. I'm just really lazy. Some of them require me to go all the way to Princes Street which is at least a half-an-hours walk and who needs that. I refuse to go anywhere beyond the Tesco on South Clerk/North Bridge/St Patrick's/South Bridge or whatever-the-fuck-you-want-to-call-it street.

Excuse me, but I have to go water my plant now. Yes, I have a plant.

to complete before the weekend [18th Sep, 2008|12:03 pm]
Today:
Nap
Quit being lazy and GO TO THE SOCIETIES FAIR
Find the laundry room
+ make an attempt at actually doing some laundry
Locate the mailroom
Sort out documents

Tomorrow:
Go to HSBC
Register at the Health Center

SO MUCH TO DO. What makes getting things done most difficult is that I cannot sleep before 4am every night due to the ridiculous location of my room, right next to the most happening pantry in B Block. It absolutely kills me. Last night I decided, hey might as well join 'em, which was all fun and games until I realized I had to wake up bright and early today to say goodbye to the parentals. Consequently, I am VERY TIRED. It's a good thing I put napping down as the first item on my agenda.

hi hi hi, it's been a while. Things have been going, the summer has been great. Europe was beyond amazing and I've been meaning to post photos from pt. 2 of the trip but my photobucket account flipped out for a bit and now I am just too lazy. Since I've been back I've been working and saving up some money for school so things have been fairly mundane yet still somewhat hectic what with goodbye lunches, dinners, and parties. I'm just ready for this month to finish quickly so that I can leave for "Uni." I am so excited for school to begin, New York is just getting so boring. It's always the same pretentious Brooklyn hipster shit or the super rude people in Manhattan. I can't wait for clubs and stupid little Indie nights and not being carded at bars again. One more week of work at the hotel and then I start packing!

9 more days [21st Jun, 2008|10:13 pm]
I can't believe I leave for Boston in just 9 days! I am so excited yet there is so much to be done.

Last night was a blast. I was supposed to see the Cure with Rachel but she couldn't come last minute so I went with Isabella instead. OH MY GOD IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.
1). I've never been for a show at such a huge venue (MSG) before. I'm used to smaller, more intimate venues without seats. That was an experience in itself. It was nice and cool for once and something about the enormity of the space made the show that much funner.
2). We got some creep smiling at us from the aisle to buy us some beer. Alcohol makes everything ten times better, no doubt.
3). THE CURE were so great. They played an amaaaazing set.

It was an awesome time over all. We were going to go to another party after the show but it got cancelled so we came home, watched Russell Brand on YouTube, and crashed instead. I need more nights like last night, sigh.

Remember when we played frisbee with Carter and he got completely into it? Yes, good times.

HI GUYS.

I'm here to tell you that today/yesterday I tried on $1400 Stella McCartney dress at Bergdorf. I have no idea how I landed up in Bergdorf while searching for a prom dress. Although, many of the dresses on level 5 were fairly inexpensive (in addition to being fairly ugly). I had overpriced ice cream outside Central Park afterward, in case you were wondering.

Overall, my day was unproductive.
